Myth and legend are located firmly in the seasons of the year and times of day. They both occupy and explain them, and there are rituals and magic peculiar to each. Technically, the rhythms of brushstrokes and markmaking have much in common with those of music and dance. The attempt here is to marry the two, and thereby embody the rites and spells of a place of myth.
